There is a friendly, informal atmosphere in the school. Parents are welcome to come into school with their children in the morning, giving them an opportunity to meet with other parents before school begins. Any parent who wishes to talk to any of the teachers in confidence is welcome to agree a time that is mutually convenient with that teacher.

Open evenings are held usually twice a year so that you can see your child’s work and discuss it with the staff. If a parent has a complaint about the curriculum being delivered in school and is not completely satisfied after discussion with the teaching staff then they can make a formal complaint in writing to the governing body, addressed to the Clerk.

Parents can help the school in a variety of ways. If a parent has a particular skill or interest and has the time to share it with us in school, we welcome their input. Support from parents is also invaluable on school trips and other events.
