We had a very successful Harvest Festival down at the village church. We sang and performed harvest songs, read harvest poems and explained what harvest is like across the world. Some of the children had the honour of going down to the new Reiver Homes development, in the village, to officially open the new show home. They had the opportunity to see the builders work, had a guided tour around the show home and planted bee friendly plants.

We have had a busy week in and out of school. Year 5 and 6 have been to Happy Hooves, where they groomed the horses, rode a simulator and rode the real thing. We also had a puppeteer from Belgium in to do a performance with a range of amazing puppets.
